Duncan Usher first pursued his passion to photograph birds. Today, he have diversified into other areas of photography and regards him self as a generalist nature photographer, photographing a variety of natural subjects from birds, animals, insects, plants to landscapes.
He strives to capture well known subjects in an unusual perspective or posture rarely seen by the casual observer, with emphasis on portraying the beauty and importance of maintaining and protecting the natural world. Producing such images depends upon the weather and subject availability, and it is much a case of trial and error. He find fitting all of pieces of the puzzle very rewarding.
